KL Hotel Early Check In. 1 day extra for an early check in and 50% for later check out after 2pm is the normal hotel policy on early check ins / late check out.
If your room is available the hotel might let you have it. Sometimes you have to pay some charge.
Again, sometimes you get lucky, and if the hotel does not need your room, they might let you keep it for no charge. We have had this happen and been allowed to keep a room. The rate will vary from hotel to hotel. We have been given to 12noon, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm free, or paid a 50% until midnight.
Some hotels will be very accommodating in this respect. You can ask the hotel directly to see if they are flexible but you will probably find that it all depends on availability on the day and how quickly they can clean the rooms.
Of course there are many people that check out early but they cannot always arrange their cleaners at a moments notice to clean a specific room. As for late check outs, this is harder to manage if the hotel is full as they must keep a room vacant for late arrivals on confirmed bookings.
